Luxurious destination, breathtaking views

We offer idyllic seaside scenery and the intimate feel of the boutique four-star hotel on the North Wales Coast.

Dine in our Restaurant, Drink at the Tarrace or Bar, and Stay overnight to enjoy the warmest hospitality and expansive views across the water. We are an ideal location for exploring Snowdonia National Park and Surf Snowdonia.

Locally, we have picturesque views of the Conwy Estuary, Deganwy Marina and Conwy Mountains. Moreover, we are so lucky to have the best views of the 13th-century Conwy Castle, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Castles and Town Walls of King Edward in Gwynedd.

UNESCO considers Conwy one of the finest examples of medieval architecture in Europe. We also love and must recommend the golden hour evening strolls on the Town Walls and view Conwy, one of the most romantic destinations to visit.

Spa and Leisure with an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. We offer a heated swimming pool, saunas and hydrotherapy pool.

All that and more awaits you here at The Quay Hotel and Spa.

What they say…

‘We had a fabulous stay and it was made extra special by petals on our bed and a card for our anniversary. We were also very impressed with cleanliness and all the safety measures in place and will definitely return’.
“Impressed with Cleanliness”Direct Mail – September 2020
“From booking to leaving – this hotel sits up with the best for great service! We booked this hotel on for a 3-night stay to take some time out from hard work to take in the sights and wonderful sea air of Conwy and Llandudno. The Quay delivered everything perfectly, even during Covid-19! On reception after a 4,5-hour drive, Joe greeted us with a warm welcome, an envelope containing all our hotel information, breakfast order sheets and our rooms were ready – Clean and freshly prepared – hugely spacious with balcony views over the marina & Conwy Castle lit up in the distance. We ate dinner at the hotels Ebb and Flow Restaurant on the first night and the menu was delightful and everything was cooked to perfection. The rooms were great! Clean and comfortable with a newly spruced bathroom, fluffy towels and tasteful furnishings. Even under the barrage of Covid-19 rules – Breakfast was a success – every table had social distancing in place and all staff wearing masks through service! The restaurant really has a great atmosphere looking out over the water! Treatments at the Spa – you get 15% off as hotel guests so we had a Swedish Massage and it was great! Make sure to book in advance for the indoor pool and gym – luckily we were able to get a few private swims booked in but no access to sauna or steam room due to restrictions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning!”
“Absolute pleasure!”Tripadvisor – September 2020
“What a fantastic stay we have just had! The hotel and spa are really luxurious and the staff were great. They were very mindful of this situation we are in. We had 2 lovely spa treatments, again very safely done by professional staff.”
“Perfect Base to Explore this beutiful area”Tripadvisor – September 2020
“We stayed during the more strict lockdown and felt very safe with the COVID regulations, our breakfast in our room back them was great.
This visit was not so locked down, but it was reassuring to see all the COVID measures still strictly adhered to.
We stayed in a suite overlooking the estuary. On entering our room, we found it was more like a flat! with a bedroom room, a living room and a bathroom. The Nespresso machine was a great extra touch. The view from the balcony is priceless.
Quay Hotel is a very special place for my husband and I getting married. We shall definitely be back.”
“Felt very safe”Tripadvisor – September 2020
Well, once again we were not disappointed, even during times of COVID we still had a fabulous time on our 3 sisters yearly visit. Hand sanitisers and regular cleaning were evident during our stay. The hotel remains first class, the food remains fantastic.”
“Another Great Yearly Sisters Break”tripadvisor – September 2020
“We had a three-day break with my daughter, the Deluxe Suite was excellent, garden and bay view, great size and a large bathroom. The restaurant food, wines, and breakfast were all first class. Cocktails were very good, and all staff were very attentive”
“Excellent stay, adored every moment”TRIPADVISOR – SEPTEMBER 2020
“Stayed here with some friends of ours just to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Was extremely happy with the slow pace of life around the small but lively town. A special thank you to David and his team for making us feel so welcome in these uncertain times. Would highly recommend a visit.”
“Great time away from the crowds”TRIPADVISOR – AUGUST 2020
“We had a wonderful three-night break at this lovely hotel. The level of service and attention was excellent from the minute we arrived. Obviously, we expected it to be a little difficult and different due to the COVID restrictions and possibly limited staff however, the changes made in the hotel and the safety of their guests was noticeable. The service from all of the staff we came across was friendly and attentive and we couldn’t have asked for anything more.”
“Excellent customer care despite current situation”TRIPADVISOR – AUGUST 2020
‘Stayed at The Quay last year and so was thrilled when I had some vouchers for my 50th to visit again in September. It’s as beautiful and welcoming as ever. The views are stunning, food delicious and beautiful comfortable surroundings. The organisation, which must be going on behind the scenes to keep everyone safe and socially distanced while making sure guests have a fabulous relaxing break must be phenomenal. The restaurant timings work like clockwork without feeling rushed and the lovely cove.”
“A delayed 50th treat”TRIPADVISOR – SEPTEMBER 2020
“Excellent hotel which had clean large rooms. Staff friendly & helpful. Good food for dinner & breakfast. Great location with fabulous views over the Conway Estuary, Conway Castle and the mountains behind. Great base for our golfing trip”
